According to Sheep Esports, Karmine Corp has signed DRX mid laner Kang “kyeahoo” Yea-hoo for the 2026 LEC season.
It had long been rumored that KC were looking overseas to find their next mid laner, and now it seems to be confirmed. The change is quite drastic, as Vladi, their now-former mid laner, won Finals MVP in the Winter Split and earned 1st Team All-Pro honors in Spring.
However, the team seemed to implode in Summer and finished 4th after a disappointing playoff run, which meant they failed to qualify for Worlds — a first for the organization.
The full team is now set
Before the Summer Split, it seemed difficult for KC to improve on any of their positions without importing from the LCK or LPL.
But with Busio also set to join from FlyQuest — and holding Polish nationality, meaning he doesn’t count as an import — a slot opened up for kyeahoo to join. KC has also reportedly re-signed top laner Canna, who was undoubtedly the best in his role in the LEC in 2025.
KC also imported another key figure: their coach. They have reportedly signed Reapered from Cloud9 as their new head coach for the 2026 LEC season. Their full roster now looks like this:
- Kim “Canna” Chang-dong (toplaner)
- Martin “Yike” Sundelin (jungler)
- Kang “kyeahoo” Yea-hoo (midlaner)
- Caliste “Caliste” Henry-Hennebert (adc)
- Alan “Busio” Cwalina (support)
- Bok “Reapered” Han-gyu (coach)
