Patch 15.19 aims to loosen a few stale spots in the meta. Jungle-leaning picks like Brand and Diana get attention aimed at their monster interactions, while Lee Sin trades a bit of scaling durability for sharper early skirmishes. Bot lane shifts slightly away from the current “Yunara/Sivir” lean, opening space for spell-caster style ADCs, plus light nudges to Draven and Jinx where they have lagged behind. Mid lane tuning continues a longer effort to separate durable, RoA-style builders from burst-oriented glass cannons.
All numbers below mirror the official 15.19 preview card and can still change before going live.
Patch Goals and Context
Jungle Champs
- These are mostly focused on Jungle, since their primary roles are still a bit stronger, this is in an effort to open up the meta a little more in general
- For Lee, we are looking at a power neutral change to increase a bit of his early skirmishing power at the cost of his mid to late game armor
Bot
- This patch Riot is trying to do a bit of a meta shift away from Yunara/Sivir (they will still be viable), but some of the more spellcaster oriented ADC’s are going to rise up as a result
- There are also a few champs like Draven and Jinx that have been a bit weaker than their typical resting winrates and mastery curves would indicate
- They are not super far off, so they are getting a small pro focused nudge, Draven in early fighting potential and Jinx in her ability to play level 1 or combo off ally CC
Mid Champs
- Some of the burst champs have become a bit weaker
- While this is a more pro focused movement for now, Riot is aware that there are some non-pro champs that need a similar treatment
- Short term strategy is to create a clearer split between durable builders (for example RoA users) and squishier burst picks
- Over time, durable champs will pay some damage tradeoffs, and burstier champs will be a bit more fragile to justify their burst
