LoL Esports have announced on X that the Worlds 2025 music video has been delayed until the 13th of October, a few days later than originally planned. The delay is happening as they have decided to cut out FlyQuest toplaner Gabriël “Bwipo” Rau after his sexist remarks on stream a month ago.

No American representation

While Bwipo is Belgian he has been playing in NA since 2021 and this year he was picked to represent the Americas in the Worlds music video. With Bwipo being cut out that means there will be no representation from the Americas in this years Worlds music video this year.

With the remarks Bwipo made on his Twitch stream, it is no surprise that LoL Esports have chosen to cut him out of the vide. On his stream, the Belgian said there “is a time of the month where you shouldn’t be playing competitive games as a woman” and that maybe women should have a “different account [to play on] when they’re going through that [their period].”
