With Worlds 2025 around the corner and only three slots still to be claimed, hype is building. Riot has now unveiled the event skin: Trials of Twilight Xin Zhao, introduced in an official trailer on the League site and YouTube. Riot also states that a portion of sales will be shared with League of Legends esports organizations. Release timing and price are not yet listed.

An obvious pick
Xin Zhao is a fitting pick this year. He received a full visual update in Patch 25.17 on August 26th to refresh his base model, animations, VFX, SFX, icons, VO, splash art, and existing skins. Choosing him for the Worlds skin ties the season’s Trials of Twilight theme directly to a champion who just got modernized.
On the esports side, Worlds 2025 will take place in China from October 14th to November 9th, featuring 17 teams and a $5 million prize pool. You can read our full Worlds 2025 guide here.
