TFT is a round based strategy game where eight players fight until one remains. You roll a five unit shop each turn, spend gold to buy or sell, and place units on a grid. Three copies make a two star, and three two stars make a three star. Traits grant stats or effects when you field enough matching units. Items come from components that drop after fights. You choose Augments that add rules to your board. The shared carousel lets players draft a rotating unit with an item attached. Stages mark early, mid, and late game pacing.
Gold wins games. Hit 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50 to gain interest. Spend to level when your board needs strength or when higher tier odds matter. Roll when you must stabilize. Sit at 50 when safe.
Start with strong pairs, then grow traits that appear naturally in your shops. Hold flexible units that fit many lines. Pivot if your upgrades stall or a rival mirrors your plan.
Frontline tanks soak and stall. Backline carries need space and protection. Drag units to dodge hooks, flanks, and skill shots. Corner trap fragile carries when assassins lurk.
Build core items first, then support. Combine a defensive item for your main tank, a sustain or damage item for your carry, and one utility piece. Avoid dead components in late stages.
Prio needed components early. Later, chase clutch upgrades or a missing unit. Pick Augments that match your traits, items, and shop hits.
Scout every round. Track rival boards and items. Roll hard when you drop below safe health or face a power spike round. Spend to stabilize, then rebuild economy. Play to top four, not only first.
Holding 50 while losing streaks out can end runs. Spend when fights turn rough.
Chasing a perfect board and ignoring shops wastes tempo. Play what you hit.
Skipping info leads to bad positioning. Check corners, hooks, and dive threats.
Random builds break carries. Aim for proven cores, then adapt support slots.
