League of Legends Asia Invitational 2025 preview

The ASI brings three powerhouse regions together for one fast, high-stakes week of League of Legends. Here is your preview with dates, format, teams, and the full prize breakdown. The tournament will run from October 6th to October 12th with only teams who did not qualify for Worlds competing.

Format

  • 8 teams total
  • Seeds: LCK 5th, 6th, 7th, LPL 5th, 6th, 7th, LCP 4th and 5th
  • Group Stage: two groups of four, single round robin, all matches best of three, each group includes at least one team from all three regions, top two teams advance
  • Knockout Stage: double elimination bracket, all matches best of three except the grand final which is best of five.

Total prize pool: ¥1,500,000 ($208,300 approx)

  • 1st place: ¥600,000 ($83,300)
  • 2nd place: ¥400,000 ($55,600)
  • 3rd place: ¥200,000 ($27,800)
  • 4th place: ¥150,000 ($20,800)
  • 5th to 6th: ¥37,500 each ($5,200)
  • 7th to 8th: ¥37,500 each ($5,200)
