MKOI struck first by invading SkewMond’s Xin Zhao, with Elyoya’s Wukong taking the kill. Top side, Myrwn’s Jax overextended into BrokenBlade’s K’Sante and died to Hans Sama’s Yunara after a clutch flash. Mid lane then swung MKOI’s way as Jojopyun’s Taliyah set up two more kills for Elyoya, making it 3–1 in the kill score.
G2 settled the game and took control. They secured two early drakes, two towers, and Rift Herald with little response. Caps recovered on LeBlanc in side lane, repeatedly pressuring Jojopyun and eventually picking him in bot lane with help from Labrov.
G2 reached soul point after poking out MKOI in river and finishing both Myrwn and the dragon, building a 3.5k gold lead and a clear win condition. Around Baron, G2 outplayed MKOI, secured the buff, then turned on the chase and won the ensuing fight.
With Baron, G2 sieged mid and bot, picked off Myrwn again, and forced the final engage. They won the last teamfight and closed out the LEC Finals rematch.
