Champion Buffs
Aphelios Weapon Enhancements
Since his reductions earlier this year, Aphelios has fallen in priority and win rate. With some power budget freed up, the development team is reverting some of those earlier changes to highlight the unique strengths of each gun.
| Ability | Old Stat | New Stat |
| Calibrum Passive Mark | 15 (+10% bonus AD) | 15 (+15% bonus AD) |
| Severum Q Damage | 19 / 24.25 / 29.5 / 34.75 / 40% Total AD | 20 / 25.25 / 30.5 / 35.75 / 41% Total AD |
| Infernum Q Damage | 20 to 110 (+10 to 16% bonus AD) | 20 to 110 (+15 to 21% bonus AD) |
| Crescendum Q Damage | 35 to 125 (+30 to 48% bonus AD) | 35 to 125 (+34 to 52% bonus AD) |
Draven Cooldown Adjustments
As the marksman meta has evolved around critical strike, on hit, and caster builds, Draven has fallen behind his peers. The balance team is increasing his heavy attack damage pattern instead of trying to redirect his itemization choices.
| Ability | Old Stat | New Stat |
| E Cooldown | 18 / 17 / 16 / 15 / 14s | 16 / 15 / 14 / 13 / 12s |
| R Damage Reduction | -8% multiplicatively down to 40% | -5% multiplicatively down to 50% |
Kai’Sa Backline Threat Increase
Kai’Sa has struggled to get through the laning phase and find her significant Killer Instinct moments. The developers are improving her fallback ability pattern early and enhancing her later game backline dive threat.
| Ability | Old Stat | New Stat |
| W Cooldown | 22 / 20 / 18 / 16 / 14s | 20 / 18.5 / 17 / 15.5 / 14s |
| R Shield Base | 70 / 90 / 110 | 100 / 150 / 200 |
LeBlanc Ultimate Damage Boost
The team wants to better reward LeBlanc players for landing some of her less guaranteed damage sources rather than giving her more gank or lane support since she already excels at both of those aspects.
| Ability | Old Stat | New Stat |
| RQ1 and RE1 Damage | 70 / 140 / 210 | 70 / 150 / 230 |
| Mark and Root Damage | 140 / 280 / 420 | 140 / 300 / 460 |
| RW Damage | 150 / 300 / 450 | 150 / 315 / 480 |
Olaf Jungle Clearing Power
Olaf used to be a staple in the jungle but has been out of favor for a while now despite earlier attempts this season to help his clearing speed. The team is looking to give him a bit more power to entice him back into the wilderness.
| Ability | Old Stat | New Stat |
| Q Monster Bonus Damage | 20 / 35 / 50 / 65 / 80 | 20 / 45 / 70 / 95 / 120 |
Poppy Jungle Viability
Jungle class diversity has been dominated almost exclusively by fighters for a while now. The developers think Poppy is a good pick for a tankier counter option into many of the fighter junglers at the top of the meta. This change is aimed at her jungle clear and gank windows while minimizing top lane and support impact.
| Ability | Old Stat | New Stat |
| Q Monster Damage Cap | 50 / 80 / 110 / 140 / 170 | 75 / 105 / 135 / 165 / 195 |
Qiyana Monster Damage Scaling
Another class that is underrepresented in the jungle is assassins. Qiyana is a great choice for an adjustment as she has recently been on the lower end of balanced in the jungle. She is receiving a jungle focused enhancement to help bring her back without meaningfully juicing her mid lane presence.
| Ability | Old Stat | New Stat |
| Q Monster Damage | 155% | 175% |
Vex Quality of Life Updates
The balance team feels Vex has had less of an impact in her games than she should. She is receiving a quality of life update that should make her reset pattern feel smoother so she can execute more significant plays in team fights.
| Ability | Old Stat | New Stat |
| E Cooldown | 13s | 12s |
| R Reset Window | 6s | 8s |
Zaahen Skirmish Frequency
Zaahen is already seeing more play across different audiences. He is receiving more room to fish for his early trade patterns and engage in mid game skirmishes without raising his absolute scaling ceiling.
| Ability | Old Stat | New Stat |
| W Cooldown | 16 / 15 / 14 / 13 / 12s | 14 / 13.5 / 13 / 12.5 / 12s |
Champion Nerfs
Bard Passive Damage Reduction
Bard has been a tanky roaming meta staple for much of the season. The team is trimming his damage output so the tank build does not get to hit nearly as hard without properly investing in ability power items.
| Ability | Old Stat | New Stat |
| Passive Damage Per Meep | 35 (+10 per 5 Chimes) | 30 (+6 per 5 Chimes) |
Brand Early Lane Oppression
Brand continues to dominate the bot lane for most players. His early passive detonation damage is being reduced while offsetting some of that hit for more skilled players and supports through targeted mana tuning.
| Ability | Old Stat | New Stat |
| Base Mana Regeneration | 9 | 11 |
| Passive Detonation Damage | 8 to 12% max health | 6 to 12% max health |
| E Mana Cost | 70 / 75 / 80 / 85 / 90 | 90 at all ranks |
Cassiopeia Base Health Scaling
Cassiopeia has risen to the top of professional play presence even before the recent nerfs to her major competition. The developers would like to preserve some of her unique strengths like her rewarding laning and slippery speed but she should have a less gigantic health bar for when opponents actually lock her down.
| Ability | Old Stat | New Stat |
| Health Per Level | 104 | 98 |
K’Sante Shielding Reliability
K’Sante has been a major beneficiary with the new itemization entering the mix in Season 2. The team is lightly tapping down his early reliability while still rewarding successful aggressive engagements.
| Ability | Old Stat | New Stat |
| E Shield Base | 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 | 70 / 112.5 / 155 / 197.5 / 240 |
| E Shield Scaling | 15% bonus health | 13.5% bonus health |
Rek’Sai Burst Window Trimming
The combination of dueling power and mobility has made Rek’Sai too successful at high ranks. Her early to mid game burst windows are being shaved down while preserving her unique map movement and longer fight pattern.
| Ability | Old Stat | New Stat |
| E Physical Damage | 80 / 108 / 136 / 164 / 192 (+64% bonus AD) | 70 / 95 / 120 / 145 / 170 (+60% bonus AD) |
| E Bonus True Damage | 125% | 120% |
Rumble Base Damage Lowering
Rumble has been an extremely reliable blind pick top laner for a long time. The development team is lowering some of his early staying power and base damage while keeping his overall scaling pattern entirely intact.
| Ability | Old Stat | New Stat |
| Q Damage | 60 / 85 / 110 / 135 / 160 (+100% AP) | 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 (+105% AP) |
Senna Farming Adjustments
Senna players have moved over to a much stronger bot lane farming pattern. The team is softening her farming synergy while also tuning her damage per second around having access to more souls over the course of the match.
| Ability | Old Stat | New Stat |
| Soul Drop Chance on Self Kill | 10% | 5% |
| Soul Drop Chance on Ally Kill | 28% | 32% |
| Critical Strike Damage Penalty | -10% | -15% |
| Q Cooldown Refund Mechanic | Triggers on hit | Triggers on attack |
Sion Resource Accessibility
Sion has been incredibly resilient in both solo queue and professional play for a long time. The team is weakening some of his reliable early lane power and resource access without decimating his core tank fantasy.
| Ability | Old Stat | New Stat |
| Q Minimum Damage | 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 / 120 | 30 / 45 / 60 / 75 / 90 |
| W Mana Cost | 65 / 70 / 75 / 80 / 85 | 75 / 80 / 85 / 90 / 95 |
Item Buffs
Imperial Mandate Refinements
Imperial Mandate has landed softly and the build path has been too awkward for many of its likely users in the support role. The developers are smoothing out the path and shifting some of its power accordingly to make it an attractive purchase.
| Stat | Old Value | New Value |
| Build Path | Blasting Wand + Bandleglass Mirror + 650g | Amp Tome + Bandleglass Mirror + Amp Tome + 700g |
| Ability Power | 65 | 60 |
| Immobilization Haste | 15 | 20 |
| Vulnerable Damage | 6% | 7% |
Item Nerfs
Doran’s Helm Tuning
The developers overshot a bit with the previous update to Doran’s Helm. The item is being tapped back down while keeping the base health high and targeting the specific users it is currently overperforming on.
| Stat | Old Value | New Value |
| Armor and Magic Resistance | 10 | 8 |
| Health | 140 | 150 |
System Features
Normal and Ranked Last Hit Indicators
The developers are enabling Last Hit Indicators for normal draft and ranked games on Summoners Rift. This feature has been live in casual modes and cooperative bot matches for a while where it resulted in new players being more successful at generating gold income. These players are now graduating into standard modes and are interested in continuing to use these visual aids.
The team thinks it is better to focus on skill expression in other parts of the game rather than understanding exactly when you can deal the final blow to a minion. The developers are also pretty confident that these indicators do not degrade skill expression in lane since players still need to be mindful of positioning, harassing the opponent, tracking junglers, and understanding power spikes. Experienced players who find the visuals distracting are welcome to disable them in the settings menu.
As the competitive landscape adapts to these extensive changes, players will need to experiment with the adjusted champions and itemization paths. The introduction of the new indicator system also provides a unique opportunity to refine lane mechanics and focus on broader strategic macro play.
